Restart button. Check.

Never.thought.I'd.blog.  I'm not even sure if I'm doing it right?  Hello, can you read me?!  I really started this to keep my self accountable for Weight Watchers, and well just because I wanted to!  I'll tie in some good recipes, my Weight Watchers journey and how my running is going (YES I STARTED RUNNING AND THIS IS ALL IN CAPS BECAUSE I'M SO FREAKING PROUD OF MYSELF).  If people read and follow along great, if not not no biggie.  Maybe I can even convince some friends to "guest post".  +Jessica Uribe  would be great to post some fashion advice, and +Hila DeLong  well, she just has so many great ideas and recipes when it comes to Weight Watchers and cooking.  I often like to sit in her kitchen while she cooks to watch and catch up on some girl chat.  My sister Hilary works out like it's her second job, maybe she'll get on here and talk about some good workouts!

I have a million things going on in my head, so my apologies. So here's what I did this past weekend.  I RAN A 5K!  Still can't believe it.  Not only did I run it, but I ran the whole thing, no walking AT ALL.  And since then (the race was Sunday) I've run Tuesday and Wednesday, both 3 miles each.

All smiles before the race with Jason!  Who by the way has now told me he's going to run three times a week.  WHOOO HOOO!  We're so going to be that couple who runs together, and I can't wait!  We'll even get Tyler out there one day, but as for now I think he prefers to be on his bike.  It's a great way for the whole family to get out there and do something besides be bums on the couch!

So here's my goal.  It's pretty simple.  To keep up with running.  I'm not going to sit here and say I'm going to run a marathon, or even a half marathon.  One day at a time.  I have another schedule for the next two months thanks to Hila, and I'm going to stick to it!  I've also signed up for my second 5K, the Turkey Trot!

Now for Weight Watchers.  I had a rather large gain last night and that's all I'll say about that.  I re-started myself, so cheers to me for recognizing it was time to bring it in.  Bring it in sister, take hold now before a month goes by and you are completely out of control! Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner, let's not let food win ;)
